Did Thy Kingdom Come? Revisited: Added More As Led This Morning(*)

Peace,

I am led to do a study on "thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven."
I pray you seek guidance from the Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus.

Jesus was speaking to the apostles about praying.  Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

We read about "thy kingdom come" Matthew 6:1010 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Which kingdom? Thy will?  God's kingdom and God's will. Who would fulfill this on earth?  JESUS!!!

The pharisees asked, when is the kingdom of God coming? Jesus replied, "the kingdom comes not with observation."

Jesus spoke, "the kingdom is at hand" This means that is has drawn near or is close. It implies that the kingdom's arrival would be soon real soon.

Jesus said, "truly there are some standing here that will not taste of death until they see the kingdom of God come with power."

This is a clue that this time was so near that those standing with HIM would not taste of death until they saw the kingdom of God. Amen!??!

Jesus was speaking to the generation of HIS time not ours. Please pray on this.

Let's read Luke 22:18 18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. Jesus did refuse drink the first time while on the cross.

Then Jesus said, "I thirst"

Did Jesus drink of the fruit of the vine before his death? Let's see what the scripture says. John 19:28-3028 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

*Jesus' good news the gospel was to be preached. The kingdom is within you NOW!!! This is not a future event. It is here for people like you and me. Do you believe this? Thy kingdom come in earth as it is in heaven. Amen!??!

* Added: Luke 22:1816 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

*Added: Luke 24:4242And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43And he took it, and did eat before them.

*Added: This is from a believer in the Kingdom NOW!! The kingdom of God is place of righteousness, peace and joy ''Roman 14 Vs 17''. The people who enter into the kingdom of God are those who have repented , believed in Jesus Christ and accept him as lord and saviour. Jesus was anointed figure who came on earth to fulfil the kingdom of God and proclaim the good news ''Isiah 61''. Jesus commanded His disciples ''belivevers'' to preach the good news to all nations and proclaim the kingdom of God - telling people to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. When Jesus was teaching about prayer He said that when we pray, we should ask the kingdom of God to come, this means that allowing the kingdom of God to come is allowing Jesus to come into our hearts. Jesus has given us power to cast out demons, to heal the sick, to witness and testify about the kingdom of God ''Acts 1 Vs 8''. Brothers and Sisters, time has come that we involve ourselves into the kingdom of God by preaching and proclaiming the good news of Christ. May God bless you as you involve yourself into the kingdom of God.

When Jesus was on the cross "knowing that all things were now accomplished" the Father's will. Jesus said, "I thirst" They gave to Jesus vinegar and when HE received it, HE said, "It is finished." The Kingdom was now come! Amen?!?!

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Matthew 28:18 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

The kingdom of God came and it now dwells within us. Jesus said, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jesus said, John 3:16-18 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Folks, please pray on this study and seek the Holy Spirit. Repent! Believe on HIM that dwells within the believer. "THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU" Amen!!

In HIM with love,
Cassie
