The Unbelievers

This is the day the LORD has made rejoice.

When one dies as an unbeliever what does the bible say about where they go?

Today, when an unbeliever dies, he follows the Old Testament unbelievers to the torment side of Hades. At the final judgment, Hades will be emptied before the Great White Throne, where its occupants will be judged prior to entering the lake of fire (Revelation 20:13–15).

Prior to Christ’s resurrection, Hades was divided into two realms: a place of comfort where Lazarus was (Abraham’s bosom or Abraham’s side) and a place of torment where the rich man was (hell). Lazarus’s place of comfort is elsewhere called “paradise” And the two places were divided. But they could see one another.

This would seem to mean that after ones death, ones fate is sealed.

Who are the unbelieving? Those who do not believe they need a Savior. Those who don't believe that Jesus' death on the cross and the shedding of HIS blood paid their debt. Those who do not repent but have died in their sin. Those who don't believe in Jesus.

It's a scary thing to read about unbelievers and their fate. Yet, many will spare upsetting the apple cart to tell their loved ones about Jesus. And their eternal fate if they don't come to Jesus.

Folks, you are not saved by knowing of Jesus. Or going to mass. Or reciting the rosary. Or praying to saints. Or Mary. No. Jesus said to be born again you must be born of water and Spirit. This means that you receive the Holy Spirit within you. When you repent, are baptized for the remission of sins and believe that JESUS IS THE TRUTH THE WAY AND THE LIFE. And believe on HIM who was sent. Because we are all sinners in need of a Savior.

New Jerusalem Spiritual

This is the day the LORD has made rejoice!!

We will be continuing in the study on New Jerusalem.  But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. (Rev. 21:22-23) Lets look at Galatians 4:26 " But Jerusalem which is above is free which is the mother of us all.

Verse 23 But he who was of the bond woman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24 which things are an allegory: but these are the two covenants; the one from Mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. 25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in the bondage of her children. 31So then, brethren we are not children bondwoman , but of the free.

Verse 26 (emphasis is mine) BUT JERUSALEM WHICH IS ABOVE IS FREE.....
The Jerusalem that is seen now will pass away. The Jerusalem that is above is eternal. This is the New Jerusalem. "But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple."

We are not under the Old Covenant but a new and better covenant with a better hope. We are just passing through. On our way to a free New Jerusalem. Amen.

That New Jerusalem lives in all of Gods children today. We are born again from flesh to Spirit. Amen?
We must stop looking at The earthly Jerusalem which is nothing more than a geographical area. Why? Because when CHRIST died a New Jerusalem was established. "JERUSALEM WHICH IS ABOVE IS FREE.....

The Kingdom of God truly is within us. The Kingdom of God, the tabernacle of God, will be with the saved nations of the earth. But the new Jerusalem is a living city that is located wherever the saint finds himself as he does the will of God. Christ Himself, the Lamb, is the Throne of the new Jerusalem. The Church, which is His Body, the Bride of the Lamb, is His fullness that fills all in all.

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, Which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. (Ephesians 1:22,23) Amen!

Be Blessed in Jesus.
