Let's start with scripture from the book of James 1:5 , 6 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”
In praying for wisdom it will be given if we ask knowing we shall receive. Amen?!?!
As of late it has my spirit has been moved to study the book of Revelation. I have looked at the many paralleling scriptures in both books Ezekiel and Revelation. Please view them.
I have also been studying the book of Revelation which has been a prompting of the Holy Spirit. This all started when I was viewing You Tube videos and not understanding why so many "Christians" believe in a rapture or look at scriptures in the book of Revelation as literal.
I have asked for wisdom and for Father to show me truth in the book of Revelation. I will start with this one scripture and I pray you will understand the power in it's meaning. Let's look at Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
"and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him:and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him." Is this speaking of a literal event? Or does the eye mean spiritual? The eye means to see and understand with our minds and hearts. I have my understanding given to me but I ask that you pray for wisdom in receiving truth.
Let's move on to Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in its strength.
The right hand means power. The sharp two edged sword separates the good from the wicked.
Revelation 12:9 9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Is there a literal dragon that was hurled down? "that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray." Or was this a spirit cast down upon the earth to deceive all man kind starting with Adam and Eve? Please pray for wisdom to receive truth. Keep your mind opened to what God is showing you not what man teaches.
What is Babylon the Great? Let's look at Revelation 14:8 8A second angel followed and said, “ ‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’a which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”
Is Babylon a literal place? Or is it the desires of the human flesh to obtain success and gratification in our lives. Again, please pray your eyes (spiritual) may see truth.
Is there a literal 144,000 sealed or is this a spiritual meaning of those who are true to God and HIS ways? Let's look at Revelation 7:4 4Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
Ezekiel 9:3,4 Then the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side 4and said to him, “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.”
The man clothed in linen had a writing kit at his side. He was told, "Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it" Are these the same that will be sealed who are true to God and HIS ways? These individuals are marked as God's special people.
The seal of God will protect HIS people. Those who are not sealed will suffer HIS wrath.
