Matthew 24:20 20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Peace,

Thank you Yahushua/Jesus for answering our prayers. As you all know a big storm hit the northeast. I live in Massachusetts and we received heavy rain right before the snow.

The rain made things more difficult the limbs of trees were now all ice. We had a lot of trees come down hitting power lines and knocking out power.

We received about 14" of snow where I live. The ice under the snow made the conditions much worse. We lost power Friday night. The temperature in the house was reading 45 degrees Sunday afternoon.

We received power by 6 pm Sunday night. I would like to thank all the crews who worked night and day to restore heat and power back to Massachusetts and the plows for making it possible for them to get through.

Our first night wasn't so bad the temperature at night was about 55 that's not too bad when your under covers. BUT when you have to get up to let chickens out of their coop and sheep out of their manger it is then you realize how cold cold really is.

The chickens were not thrilled about the snow being in their run so we had to shovel them out. Then the sheep didn't want their wool getting wet so we had to shovel them out. Then the rabbits had snow in their run. All in all it wasn't too bad considering it was warmer outside than in.

That night the house was reading about 46 before we went to bed. We put the generator on so we could have heat for the dogs in their room and we had the refrigerator plugged in so the food wouldn't spoil.

The night wasn't too bad. We prayed a lot and went to bed early catching up on sleep. While praying these verses kept coming to mind. Matthew 24:20 20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be

I have been without heat with a fireplace or stove but not with no source of heat. I have been with out power in the Summer but nothing compares to being without in the Winter. I kept thanking Father for shelter, food and water. Then when the power came on I thanked HIM for the heat and to forgive me for all the times I complained in my life prior to the storm.

My oh my it is these circumstances that you come to realize how merciful Father is. How fortunate and blessed we are. I pray that I remain thankful and not forget what these last 2 days were like. I think of the many who still have no power or houses.

Folks, we need to humble ourselves. I am happy to say not once did I complain during these last two days. I gave thank's to our Father for all I have.

It truly is a blessing to have heat and be able to do laundry and to have warm food and to take a warm shower. Thank you Father we truly are blessed. Amen.

In HIS name with love,
Cassie

OH, SO SORRY THAT YOU HAD TO GO THRU THIS - BUT IF THIS TRIBULATION STRENGTHENED YOU, THEN THE LORD HAS BLESSED YOU AND I KNOW HE HAS DONE THAT FOR YOU. DEPENDING ON HIM...OUR "FAITH SHOULD NOT BE IN THE WISDOM OF MEN BUT IN THE POWER OF GOD - I COR. 2:4-5. WE MUST BE WEAK BECAUSE "OUR WEAKNESS IS OUR DOORWAY TO HIS STRENGTH. PROBLEMS CAN BE THE BRIDGE THAT BRINGS US TO THE PLACE OF WEAKNESS, CAUSING OUR PROBLEMS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST THINGS THAT COULD HAPPEN TO US"..TAKEN FROM "The Grace Walk Experience). I AM LEARNING HOW VERY TRUE THIS IS- AT FIRST I DOUBTED - BUT NOW I BELIEVE THAT MY WEAKNESS MAKES ME DEPEND ON THE LORD AND NOT MY OWN DOINGS. I CAN DO NOTHING BY MYSELF...WITHOUT MY LORD...MAY HE USE BOTH OF US ALWAYS. I ALWAYS HAVE SAID THE WORDS TO YOU = "STAY STRONG" AND MAYBE I SHOULD BE SAYING, BE WEAK AND DEPEND ON HIM ONLY. KNOWING THAT THE LORD IS ALWAYS THERE FOR US...AMEN...LOVE TO YOU IN HIM...NORMA...I WILL ALWAYS PRAY FOR YOUR SAFETY AND YOUR FAMILIES SAFETY. LOVE!
