and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

Peace,

I pray that those who have ears to hear will hear what the Holy Spirit has placed on my heart this day.

Folks, I am going to share more with you about this YOKE we are putting back around our necks. This YOKE is getting heavier and heavier for most. I pray this study releases the yoke of bondage that many have put back on.

Let's look at Deuteronomy 28:48 (48) Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

As we see in the above verse this YOKE is like iron upon the neck. Can you imagine walking around with iron upon your neck?

I want to share with you the enemies we serve. I did a study on this yesterday as I was led by the Holy Spirit. The enemies are murder,(hatred) coveting, lust and there are many others. If we serve these enemies within us it is because we have turned away from Father God. We no longer are walking in obedience but we are rebelling against Father God.

The bible says, Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Let's go on.. The YOKE we carry when we are NOT obeying Father God becomes heavy, burdensome, un-comfortable and even restraining. We feel this YOKE in many different ways. We can feel  the negativity of this YOKE many ways. We can feel it physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Folks,  in Deuteronomy above it states that we bring this YOKE upon ourselves. Father God does not want us to feel this way. However, when we try and do things in our way we sin and we put ourselves in bondage.

When we are confined to this bondage we must exchange the YOKE of disobedience to Father God's commands and replace it with obedience to HIM by serving HIM completely.

When things seem to be against us and we are not hearing from Father God and our prayers seem to go un-answered and we seem to be fighting this daily uphill battle it is because we are not living a righteous life. We have turned against Father God and we are punishing ourselves for the sinful life we are living. We also are very quick to blame Father for all the wrongs in our lives. Yet, we have done this to ourselves by putting the iron YOKE upon us.

We are told if we follow the commands of God, which are love, HIS commands are not grievous. 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

To serve and obey Father God is to be FREE. To serve mammon is to have the YOKE of iron around your neck.

In HIM with love,
Cassie
