Daily Question and Scriptural Answer

What is sin? We know the bible says "all have fallen short of the glory of God" This is through sin. 

Sin is the barrier between God and man. We know that light and dark, evil and good cannot exist together nor can sin exist with God. 

Sin also is a barrier in our earthly relationships. We read daily about murders, robbery, rape and so on. 

The world is on a down hill slope because of sin. The sin of greed, power, pride, lust and so on. There is a heavy price to pay falling into the hands of the living God.

Being separated from God because of sin doesn't have to be. If we repent and turn from sin and back to God. God can restore all things if we would just obey Him.

Jesus came to take sin away and to give back to us a relationship with God. 

1 John 3:4-64 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

When we do not forgive this is sin. Matthew 6:15
When we fail to love our neighbor as our self this is sin. Mark 12:31
When we fail to trust Jesus this is sin. John 14:1.
When we fail to honor God this is sin. John 5:23.
When we fail to honor Jesus this is sin. John 5:23.

The list goes on but this is a partial list. Sin is not only limited to failing to follow the ten commandments of God.  We fail God and man always in all ways. We can ask forgiveness of our sins and God will forgive us through His Son Jesus. Amen.

Ask Jesus to help you today to turn from your sins of the flesh. Ask Father to re-new in you His Spirit and to cleanse your heart and bless you with a sound mind. I ask this for you in prayer today in Jesus name. Amen.
