Daily Question And Scriptual Answer

What does it mean when people say the Holy Spirit is in them? When we are born we are dead to sin. It is not until we admit we are sinners. Repent of our sin. And seek an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that we may obtain the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:8-118 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
It is Jesus Christ who baptizes us with the Holy Spirit.

Luke 3:16 John answered , saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh , the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose : he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

We see from the verse above that Jesus will baptize us with the Holy Ghost and with fire.

When we are baptized with the Holy Spirit we are born again. John 3:3, 5-6Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:1919 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
