Study:Was The Gospel Preached To The Whole World?

Peace,

A few nights ago while in the living word it was placed on my heart to go to Colossians 1. Let's look at the verses that jumped out at me. I was then led to seek more. Please pray on this.

Colossians 1:5,6 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

What struck me particularly was "which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; this was after reading "before in the word of the truth of the gospel;"

Let's go on... Mark 16:14,1514 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Jesus said to the eleven. "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Let's go back to Colossians 1:23 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Paul stated this, "the gospel was preached to every creature which is under heaven;"

Jesus said preach the gospel to "every creature" Paul said it was done. Yes?!?!

Let's go on... Matthew 24:14 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Jesus speaking to the apostles said, "the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world; and then shall the end come."

Let's see what Paul said in Romans 10:18 18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Jesus said, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world" Paul said it was done. Yes?!?!

Going back to Matthew 24:14 "and then shall the end come" Was this the end of the world? Or the end of the Old Covenant age? I believe the latter. Jesus' death ushered in the New Covenant. Amen?!!?

Was Jesus speaking again to just the apostles of His generation? Were they the witnesses since they had been with Christ before and after His death and resurrection?

Has the end Jesus was speaking of in Matthew 24 come to pass? Was it His generation that would be the witnesses Jesus spoke of?  After all they were the ones who witnessed Jesus'  life, death and resurrection? Can one be a witness without being present during an event?

*Important For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the WORD which they heard did not profit them, " NOT BEING MIXED WITH FAITH" in those who heard it. (Hebrews4:2)

Faith = Jesus Christ (Faith is not our achievement, not our property). SO, If the Word does not mix with Faith (not become flesh), the WORD which they heard did not profit them!!!!!!!!Amen.

Ephesians 3:4-6 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

I will always testify of my love for Jesus. I will always testify to others of my savior Jesus who died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected and sits at the right hand of the Father. Amen. I did not witness Jesus' birth, ministry,  death or resurrection but I believe with all my heart and through the Holy Spirit that the gospel is the living word dipped in blood. Jesus is the word. Amen.

In Jesus name with love,
Cassie
