Sonlight

                                             Sonlight


                                          When the world was in darkness
                                               The LORD found a way
                                               To summon the light,
                                           And HE called the light day,

                                           HE made heaven and earth
                                              And when HE was done,
                                           HE made man and then woman,
                                              And the two became one

                                               But the beautiful garden
                                                God placed the two in,
                                               Was shrouded in gloom
                                                   By the very first sin.

                                             And sin became rampant
                                               And nearly had won,
                                             When God in HIS mercy
                                                 Sent HIS only Son.

                                             Some followed the Light
                                             And the pathway to life,
                                          While others chose darkness,
                                                 Hardship and strife

                                           Though seasons may come
                                               And seasons may go;
                                           Whether mild gentle breezes
                                                Or stormy winds blow,
                                            There's a message the Holy Book
                                                     Wants us to know...
                                                      In the garden of life,
                                             We need "Sonlight"to grow.
