A Picture Tells A Thousand Words... PRAY!!!

I also have seen this happen (2 weeks ago) right outside my window while sitting on the computer, only it was a huge hawk coming after the small birds that I feed and he induced panic and fear in all the little birds and they tried to take cover in the shrubs under the window and on my porch...but he caught one on my porch in his claws and hit my window (as I watched & it was sad) then got down on the sidewalk and stopped... and he looked at me, right smack at me in the eyes as if to impress on me how powerful he was.  I wanted to run right out and shake my fist at that large hawk (and he was beautiful and probably hungry) as I didn't want him to destroy that little bird.  I guess I felt responsible for the bird's death because I'm the one who feeds him and all his friends.  I do believe it is the way that is provided for other creatures to survive.  But, let's talk about human survival...

This is exactly how Satan and his demons manipulate the thoughts of those who are ignorant of God's truth in His Word and know not Jesus Christ as Savior.  Satan lures the unsaved into the open and continues to deceive them, using every means and ways to keep them in bondage under his ways.

Now, Satan does the same thing to the Christian, the believer, in order to weaken them in their beliefs and sometimes we give him access by our own willful disobedience.  That's not so nice, is it?  But, we do it so many times...and that is so sad.  I hate it when I offend my Lord Who died for me on the cross.

We all have to remember that the Almighty God is our Protector - Psalm 91:4 -  "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler."  We should never treat our own sin lightly...because it is the poison our enemy, Satan, uses against us to deceive us so that we fall under his destruction.  May we always be alert and aware of Satan's tactics that he uses to defeat us.  2 Thes. 3:3 - "But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil."

In His blessed Name, Jesus Christ...Norma

This picture reminds me of how Satan attacks us - through the flesh!  The black bird is inflicting the white doves...just as Satan inflicts us in so many ways.
